Renita Dick
Investment Advisor Representative
I came out of Oklahoma State University with a business marketing degree and went straight into financial services. That was over twenty years ago, and the work has looked pretty much the same ever since: sit down with someone, find out where they are and where they want to go, and help them build a path between those two points.
The moment that still stays with me is watching a client's rolled-over 401k more than double over several years. When they were able to pull more income from that account in retirement than they ever expected, that was the job working the way it's supposed to. I've had clients send flowers. I've had people tell me that because of the work we did together, they have something today they never would have had otherwise. That's what keeps me at it.
I go to financial conferences every year, not as a formality, but because I genuinely believe you have to keep learning. I have a network of advisor friends across the country and we push each other to keep improving. The financial world changes. Our clients' lives change. Staying current is part of the job.
Outside the office, I'm usually managing rental properties, out on the lake with my husband David, or getting time in with my three grandkids, who have strong opinions about being called "GiGi's." Both of my sons played collegiate sports, one football and one track, and watching them compete was one of the great privileges of my life. My youngest graduated from the University of Tulsa Law School in May 2026. My husband and I also co-own Green Country Funeral Home in Tahlequah, which keeps life interesting.
I'm a proud Kappa Delta alumna and an active supporter of CASA, Beta Sigma Phi, and the Northeastern State University Foundation. Tahlequah has given me a lot, and I take that seriously.
