Renda Reese Davis

My dad was in the insurance business, so financial services was always part of the conversation at home. He encouraged me to jump in right out of college, and I did. After five years in insurance, I got licensed in securities and expanded what we could offer to include investments, retirement planning, and college savings. It felt like completing the picture.

The couples I remember most are the ones I've worked with for decades. I had clients who came to me forty years ago, and we built their plan together over all that time. Watching them retire early, travel the country, and send me salt and pepper shakers from every place they visit reminds me why I do this. They tell me I helped make their dreams real. That's the job working the way it's supposed to.

I'm straightforward and direct. My goal is to give clients the clearest understanding I can of what's happening with their money and what their options are. A lot of my work focuses on getting young investors started and then building on that foundation over time. That long view matters to me.

I've served on the Oklahoma Law Enforcement Retirement System Board for over twenty-five years, appointed first by Governor Keating and recently reappointed by the Senate Pro Tem. When you're part of a community for this long, you show up for it.

Outside the office, I'm usually at the lake or on the slopes. I love to ski, both water and snow, and some of my best days are spent there with Gary, my husband of forty years, and our two sons, Rhett and Reese, along with our four grandchildren, Rhylee, Landon, Lincoln, and Callie May. Staying active and in shape matters to me, so running and working out are part of my routine.
